Toyota FT-1 Concept in Detroit could be next Supra
Toyota pulled off a surprise at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show by revealing their latest creation, the FT-1 Concept. The “Future Toyota” could very well be the next Supra.
No engine specs have been given out. Only technical details mentioned is the front-engine rear-wheel drive setup it will have.
Toyota says this audacious design is also a celebration of the Calty Design Research’s 40th anniversary, and to commemorate the sports car heritage they shared across those years with cars such such as the 2000GT, Celica, Supra, MR2, and more recently the Scion FR-S.
