2000-2004 Toyota Avalon U.S. recall
Toyota has announced that it intends to conduct a voluntary safety recall involving approximately 373,000 2000-2004 Model Year Toyota Avalons sold in the United States to address the possibility that the vehicle’s steering lock bar could break under certain conditions. 2010-2011 Jaguar XF and XK V8 recall

2010 Subaru Legacy & Outback recalled again
According to the NHTSA, Subaru of America is recalling 74,000 units of the 2010 Outback and Legacy, built between February 16, 2009 and April 12, 2010. It seems that a bundle of wires located behind the steering wheel can develop stress cracks and eventually break. Continue reading »

2010 Suzuki Kizashi recalled for minor fault
The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has issued a recall on the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi. Evidently, the lower glove box door can pop open during an accident, possibly coming in contact with the front passenger’s body at the same time. The news means that the Kizashi doesn’t conform to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 201. The standard deals with passenger protection from impact on pieces of the car’s interior. Lexus engine recall for LS, GS and IS
Toyota is currently preparing to recall a total of 270,000 Toyota Crown and Lexus LS, GS and IS models worldwide. As it turns out, some of the company’s 4.6L V8 and 3.5L V6 engines were built using faulty valve springs that may cause the car to stall while driving. Lexus HS250h recalled for fuel leak
The Lexus HS250h hybrid is in trouble, as Lexus has filed a report with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a voluntary recall of these vehicles. Up to 17,000 of the luxury hybrids are affected. Continue reading »
