German firm 9ff, a Porsche tuning firm that claims to be a full manufacturer, will be presenting the 9ff Speed9 at the 2009 Essen Motor Show next week. Based on the latest 911 Turbo, the 9ff Speed9 is apparently a vague tribute to the 1955 Porsche 356 1500S Speedster.

While details are limited, the 9ff Speed9 has a cut-down windshield and a flat hard-cover over the lowered cloth roof. The body kit includes a front bumper, side skirts and a rear bumper, with new wheels.

The twin-turbo inline-6 engine is good for 650 hp. Mods include a “sports” air filter, upgraded ECU, custom 9ff exhaust system and a free-flow catalytic converter. Also standard is a Tiptronic gearbox with paddles.

Handling is improved with adjustable shocks on the front and rear axles, “double” springs and four aluminum “spring plates,” as well as a 9ff braking kit consisting of “compound” brake discs, 6-piston calipers and 9ff brake pads.

The interior has tons of alcantara trim on the dashboard, sports seats and special steering wheel. It can be customized further, depending on the buyer.
