Paul Walker autopsy claims Porsche Carrera GT was travelling at 100-plus mph
The autopsy report on the accident that killed Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas, revealed the Porsche Carrera GT they crashed in was travelling at more than 100 mph before losing control. Rodas was driving the car.
The report also revealed that Walker suffered multiple fractures and other traumatic injuries. Walker’s body was also so badly burnt, visual identification was not possible. Rodas suffered similar injuries, as well as multiple head injuries and a fractured skull.
Rodas was driving at more than 100 mph, when the car lost control and hit a curb, followed by a tree and then a lamp post. After that, the car spun 180 degrees to hit another tree before bursting into flames.
Walker, who was filming for the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, was due to release this year in July, but now has been pushed to next year April. According to reports by the Hollywood Reporter, Universal Studios are planning to “retire” the character of Brian O’Connor in the movie, rather than kill him off, using some of the footage Walker already filmed last year.
