After spending half a decade in development hell, running the ‘Ring in camo, briefly getting canceled during the recession, and even racing at a few events, the production version of the Lexus LF-A supercar has finally debuted in Japan.

The 2011 LF-A is powered by a 4.8L V10 putting out 552 hp at 8700 rpm and 354 lb-ft of torque at 6800 rpm, with a redline of 9000 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox and a rear-wheel-drive chassis with limited-slip differential and a reasonable 3263 lbs curb weight.

Not really the Toyota Supra replacement that everyone was hoping for, the Lexus LF-A is expected to retail for $375,000, because it will be limited to 500 units.
