BMW North America announced it will debut the 2011 BMW Alpina B7 in February at the Chicago Auto Show. Combining power with luxury, Alpina B7 does not disappoint.

The BMW Alpina B7 gets an upgraded 4.4L V8 with twin-turbochargers producing 500 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, making it reach 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. Maximum torque is distributed on a wide range from between 3000 rpm to 4750 rom, allowing overtaking in highway speeds effortless. It has a six-speed automatic transmission with ALPINA SWITCH-TRONIC transmission control to switch between manual and automatic shifting modes.

The ride height is lowered and a more tuned suspension improves its handling capabilities. Combined with the 21-inch 20 spoke rims with wide 245/35 R21 in the front and 285/30 R21 in the rear, plus the front and rear spoilers giving it more downforce, it will be more than capable of taking corners fast.
