The 2003 New York International Auto Show runs from April 18 to 27, and although comparatively smaller than the gigantic Detroit show, it is still getting its own share of debuts. Among production models, Toyota's new California-designed Camry Solara Coupe is introduced for the first time, along with the launch of Cadillac's V-Series performance badge, Chevrolet's category-busting Malibu Maxx, an all-new Galant from Mitsubishi, the roadster version of the Nissan 350Z and even a Saturn performance line, plus many other cars. Ford and Saab have announced plans for future production models, such as the Ford Futura and Saab 9-2 respectively. And many of the concept cars being shown here are actually prototypes for near-future production models, such as the Acura TL concept, the rear-wheel-drive Chrysler prototype that's to become a 300M replacement and the Lexus HPX crossover-style concept...
