It is auto show season in the United States again, and the new releases are rolling in. The 2006 North American International Auto Show in Detroit and the 2006 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show runs simultaneously during January, both used by almost every major auto manufacturer to launch a number of new models. Among the most notable releases are super-sedans such as the Lexus LS460 and the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG. There seems to be numerous SUV releases this year, which is odd considering high fuel prices. Among these are the new Jeep Wrangler and Compass, the Mercedes Benz GL-Class, and a completely new Chevrolet Suburban alongside the new Cadillac Escalade variant. New sports cars this year are just variations of last year's cars, with the Ford Shelby GT500, the BMW Z4 M Roadster and the Pontiac Solstice GXP. The flavor this year seems to be outrageous concepts, such as the Aston Martin Rapide, the Chevy Camaro, the Dodge Challenger, the Infiniti Coupe, the Lamborghini Miura and the Mazda Kabura, all potential future supermodels...
