The Chicago auto show is smaller than mega Detroit show, but has still become an important launching pad for quite a few new models. Running from the 10th of January 2006, it is a mixture of world premieres and concept cars that takes place on common ground. For 2006, Chicago hosted several world debuts from around the world. Highlights include the production Lexus ES350, enormous Lincoln Navigator and Mercedes-Benz R63 AMG superwagon.
